Administrative Assistant/Office Assistant

The administrative assistant will perform a variety of duties for our CEO and other departments including:

  • Responsibilities:
    • Travel arrangements for senior staff, guests & interview candidates (as needed)
    • Expense tracking for CEO
    • Meeting notes & minutes
    • Coordinate on-site company meetings, scheduling, food ordering
    • Maintaining cloud based software permissions (Dropbox)
    • Financial data entry
    • Keying vendor packing slips & bills
    • Updating assets, renewals, and creating support & maintenance contracts in CRM program
  • Assist HR with:
    • New employee benefit & payroll enrollment
    • Immigration H1B processing
    • Insurance benefits tracking
    • On-boarding new hires
  • General office management:
    • Assist in maintaining an organized and welcoming office environment
    • Office supply and kitchen supply purchasing
    • Office management – point person for rental property facilities and maintenance
    • Support/greet visitors
    • Employee contact for ordering and special purchasing requests

Full-Stack Software Developer

octoScope is the market leader in accurate and repeatable automated wireless testbeds used by the telecommunications industry to validate wireless devices and systems.

We are growing our software development team in Littleton, MA (Greater Boston Area) by adding a full-stack developer to the team. The ideal candidate will initially be responsible for implementing cloud-based software and services and then assisting with the development and maintenance of the server software driving our wireless testbeds.

Technologies we leverage include Linux, React, NodeJS, MongoDB, Python, Docker, and AWS. Each team member is issued their own wireless test bed to develop on.

We’re looking for bright individuals who fit into a diversity-inclusive culture and can have fun at work while getting things done. We will train the right person in any knowledge or skill gaps within the wireless networking domain.

  • Responsibilities
    • Implement and integrate cloud-based software and services
    • Integrate security for company and customer data in the cloud
    • Develop and maintain a User Interface written in JavaScript (ReactJS w/ Hooks)
    • Develop and maintain a REST-ful API and integrate with it via Axios
    • Leverage Mongoose to interface with data persisted in MongoDB
    • Implementing authentication with JWT
    • Write and maintain Unit and End-to-End Tests
    • Write and maintain Bash and Python scripts
    • Participate in code peer review process
    • Create documentation artifacts with UML
    • Identify and fix application defects
    • Assist QA and Customer Support as needed
  • Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Experience designing and building commercial cloud services
    • Experience with foundational cloud services for storage, computation, event processing, messaging, data processing, and analytics
    • Experience securing company and customer data in the cloud
    • Extensive knowledge about APIs, RESTful services
    • 1+ years working with JWT or similar authentication technology
    • 4+ years of experience working on a team of at least 4 to 6 developers
    • 4+ years of React front-end development experience
    • 4+ years of NodeJS back-end development experience
    • Self-starter and self-motivated; does not require a lot of handholding
    • Positive attitude
    • Highly collaborative with excellent communication/interpersonal skills

    • Security+ Certification
    • Experience integrating with third-party cloud solutions

Full-Stack Software Developers

We are looking for junior-level developers to grow our software engineering team in Littleton, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the software that drives our wireless testbeds.

An emphasis will be placed on finding bright individuals who fit into a diversity-inclusive culture of comradery and can have fun at work while getting things done; we will train the right person in any knowledge or skill gaps.

We follow two-week development sprints that culminate in an end-of-sprint demo and team lunch. Each team member is issued their own wireless test bed to develop on. Office amenities include a ping pong table and espresso machine.

  • Responsibilities
    • Develop and maintain a User Interface written in JavaScript (ReactJS)
    • Develop and maintain a REST-ful API
    • Develop and maintain a Python wrapper around a REST-ful API
    • Leverage Mongoose to interface with data persisted in MongoDB
    • Write and maintain Unit and End-to-End Tests
    • Write and maintain Bash and Python scripts
    • Participate in code peer review process.
    • Create documentation artifacts with UML
    • Identify and fix application defects
    • Assist QA and Customer Support as requested by leadership
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or graduate of a Software Development Bootcamp

Full stack architects and software developers

  • Various positions for software developers familiar with node.js, mongo.db, react or similar technologies
  • UI development skills are a plus
  • Work with a complex cloud-based architecture
  • Solid knowledge of the Linux environment
  • Understanding of TCP/UDP/IP networking protocols

RF systems engineer

  • Work includes developing automated test sequences for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices at the PHY and RF levels in the frequency ranges of DC to 6 GHz and mmWave
  • Ability to operate and program RF instruments, such as VSA/VSG, frequency analyzers, scopes
  • Working knowledge of Python scripting
  • Familiarity with HFSS, MATLAB or similar simulation tools is a plus
  • Understanding of DSP, preferably in Wi-Fi radio technologies

Software Quality Assurance engineers

  • Work includes configuring and setting up octoBox wireless testbeds, testing new software releases, creating automated regression test scripts
  • Experience with Wi-Fi technologies is a plus
  • Working knowledge of networking (TCP/UDP/IP)
  • Working knowledge of Python scripting to develop and run automated test sequences
  • Familiarity with the Linux environment

Systems engineers – can be based internationally

  • Work includes configuring and setting up octoBox wireless testbeds, assisting with QA of new software releases, helping customers upgrade their software, including test database migration
  • Experience installing and operating Wi-Fi technologies
  • Working knowledge of networking (TCP/UDP/IP)
  • Python scripting experience
  • Familiarity with the Linux environment
  • Ability to develop and run automated test sequences
  • Ability to operate the octoBox testbed (we will train!)
  • Customer facing skills, including responsiveness
  • Some travel is required

Sales engineers, preferably in Eastern Europe or India

  • Work with our resellers in your assigned territory
  • Train resellers to present the octoBox benefits vs. competition, set up system demonstrations
  • Visit customers to present the octoBox vs. competing solutions
  • Configure octoBox testbeds and assist resellers with the quoting process
  • Help close sales
  • Travel is required

Production manager

  • Plan and manage factory floor activity
  • Create quality assurance culture, including incoming inspection and quality controls throughout the production process
